Junior Health Data Engineer

Job summary

We are seeking a Junior Health Data Engineer. The mission encompasses elements of both data science and data engineering. Your role involves ensuring compatibility and integration of datasets and data sources within the healthcare domain, adhering to the principles of FAIR data (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). You will be responsible for tasks such as data modeling, creating data mappings, implementing standards, data cleaning, and establishing reference datasets.



Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Mapping of various datasets to international standards (e.g., OMOP and FHIR) to achieve FAIRness and interoperability.
  • Development and implementation of the “reference data management” and “master data management” solutions.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional collaborations with external companies, as well as internal scientific and data science teams.
  • Leverage large-scale observational patient databases (e.g., electronic health records, claims, registries, etc.) to derive insights related to health outcomes.
  • Contribute to the design, construction, deployment, and maintenance of the “metadata catalog,” “referential data,” and “Master Data Management” as well as the development and completion of the ‘metadata catalog’.
  • Data harmonization and curation via imputation of missing variables, correcting bias, and data pruning.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s in data science, computer science, or equivalent through experience.
  • Hands-on technical data analysis and modeling experience (across roles).
  • Familiarity with OMOP CDM would be appreciated.
  • Willingness to work closely within the healthcare domain.
  • Experience querying (ETL writing), cleaning, and integrating data to create different population cohorts.
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing, medical coding, and disease ontologies is considered a strong advantage for potential candidates.

Job summary

We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Sales Representative to grow adoption of our medical software solutions among private medical practices, clinics, and pharmacies. You’ll be the face of our product mostly to doctors and pharmacy owners, helping them see how our software simplifies their day-to-day operations. This is a field-based, quota-driven role ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships in healthcare settings and closing deals independently.



Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

  •  Identify and prospect new clients among private practices, clinics, and independent pharmacies within your assigned territory.
  •  Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations tailored to each practice’s workflow.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of leads from first contact through contract signing.
  • Develop relationships with physicians, practice managers, and pharmacists to understand their pain points and match solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with onboarding/customer success teams to ensure smooth client handoff after sale.
  • Attend medical and pharmacy trade shows, conferences, and local networking events.
  • Track activity, pipeline, and forecasts for our sales efforts.
  • Stay current on healthcare regulations and competitor offerings relevant to medical software.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience; healthcare, medical device, pharma, or SaaS sales strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

  • Comfortable presenting to physicians, clinical staff, and small business owners.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently.

  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, pharmacy management software, or healthcare IT is a plus.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required with equivalent experience.

Job summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our biomedical software tools, with a specific focus on our Electronic Health Record and Data Capturing systems. You will work closely with data scientists, biomedical engineers, and other stakeholders to create robust and scalable software solutions. This role requires proficiency in cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.



Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of our biomedical software applications.
  • Cloud Integration: Build and deploy cloud-native applications using commercial cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure). 
  • Agile Practices: Support the Agile software development lifecycle and participate in all phases of the development process. 
  • Data Management: Ensure compatibility and integration of datasets and data sources within the healthcare domain, adhering to the principles of FAIR data (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in cross-functional collaborations with external companies and internal scientific and data science teams.
  • Particularization: Collaborate closely with healthcare stakeholders, including clinical trial researchers, to optimize technological solutions for electronic capture of medical data across varying levels of complexity. 

 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role in software development. 
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, Angular). 
  • Solid experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails). 
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 
  • Familiarity with Agile practices, service-oriented architectures, and DevOps methodologies. 
  • Proficiency with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). 
  • Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Previous experience with medical data standards (e.g., HL7/FHIR, CDISC, OMOP). 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Previous experience with clinical trial data and electronic health records is considered as an important asset.
